2. Description of Service

$ubwatch is a browser extension that helps users track and manage their subscription expenses. The Extension provides:

Manual and AI-powered subscription tracking
Encrypted storage of subscription data
Email reminders for upcoming payments
Data export/import functionality
Subscription spending analytics

3. Subscription Plans and Payment

3.1 Free Trial

New users receive 5 free AI-powered page scans. After the trial, continued AI features require a paid subscription.

3.2 Paid Plans

Monthly Plan: $4.99/month for 1,000 scanned pages

3.3 Payment Terms

All payments are processed securely through our payment provider
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice

4. User Responsibilities

4.1 Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

Use the Extension for any illegal purposes
Attempt to circumvent subscription limits or payment requirements
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Extension
Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the Extension
Share your account credentials with others
Interfere with the proper functioning of the Extension

4.2 Content Accuracy

You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter manually
We are not liable for errors in AI-detected subscription information
You should review all detected subscriptions for accuracy

5. Privacy and Data Protection

Key Privacy Features:

Subscription content (names, amounts, dates) is encrypted locally before storage
Only email and subscription metadata are stored on our servers
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties
AI processing is performed via secure, encrypted connections

6. AI Features and Limitations

6.1 AI Detection Accuracy

AI-powered subscription detection is provided on a best-effort basis
We do not guarantee 100% accuracy in detecting or parsing subscription information
Users should verify all AI-detected subscriptions

6.2 Page Scan Limits

Each subscription plan includes a specific number of page scans
Once limits are reached, AI features are disabled until renewal
Manual entry remains available regardless of scan limits

7. Limitation of Liability

7.1 Service "As-Is"

The Extension is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind
We do not warrant that the Extension will be error-free or uninterrupted
We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-detected subscription information

7.2 User Responsibility

Important:

You are solely responsible for managing your actual subscription payments
The Extension is a tracking tool and does not cancel or modify actual subscriptions
You must verify all payment dates and amounts independently

8. Account Termination

8.1 User Termination

You may terminate your account at any time through the Extension settings
Upon termination, your subscription will be cancelled
Data will be retained for 30 days for potential recovery

8.2 Our Right to Terminate

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

You violate these Terms of Service
You engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior
Your account is inactive for more than 12 months
Required by law or legal process

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time
We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification
Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of new Terms
